Shadowxcraft~ Things We Can Use To Attract Players.

    I know shadow has been going downhill lately and i want to help anyway i can, but we really need something better or even more advanced.

    1: Cheaper Shops: I personally think prices should be lower because some people can't afford that much money. It is possible to earn the tremendous amount but it will take time. Maybe weekly shop discounts in factions and survival might work.

    2.Famous Sub-Servers: Most servers have good classic favorites like eggwars or overpowered factions and overpowered prison. I personally think more sub-servers will not only act as a magnet for players but to actually get the server more popular.

    In Survival, the shop is only supplementary, so things are supposed to be too expensive.
    As for the more sub servers, us staff have trouble managing the ones we already have.. A few well-maintained servers are normally better than a lot more poorly maintained servers.

    1.) How about we change the Survival Server to a Towny Server, this way we'd have more space to interact with and not just one plot which has limited biomes.
    2.) We could use advertising, maybe try to get an ad on some voting websites to put us on the shout list (The ones that put the server on top for a period of time).
    3.) Update the servers and try to be as special as possible (SXC Is already special <3), or maybe even a 1.9 Factions Server.

    Liz and I are slowly custom coding different parts of the server to make it more unique.

    Sub servers if inactive/un used for a long period of time do get turned off and removed.

    If we do decide to do Towny, it will most likely be its own server.

    Um I don't see shadow going downhill. That's how you see it. You're probably doing these "suggestions" for your own personal gain.
    See, personal gain. This wont attract more players as they wont even know about the shop prices in the first place..

    Well as hotline pointed out, finals for some people. He didn't really say he was losing interest in shadowcraft either. It would be nice if he could have some actual suggestions cause the shop price change wont really help and the staff want to add gamemodes that would suit the server, not "famous" ones. There really is no such thing as "famous" gamemodes...

    People do know TECHNICALLY you can have a skyblock, suvival, and towny all in /server survival .Not official but you can technically do so if you wish, some players are already playing survival as skyblock. And with players who are added into someones plot sometimes it quickly becomes a towny deal. As with improving player count that may take a while, but when i come on usually creative or survival someone is asking for help about starting out or help on buildings,about 1-3 every time.Personally though i would rather have quality players over quantity players.
