Bring Back Skyblock!! (with Suggestions)

So in the early days of SxC (some of you may remember, including me of course lol), there was this amazing 'mini-game' survival type sub-server called skyblock. I LOVED skyblock, and I had a bunch of stuff on there.

But then.... it got removed.
And I was upset due to the fact that it got removed.
So that's why I say...
We bring back Skyblock and make it better!
Here are some suggestions on how to make it better (if it comes back..)
1. Shop
So you know almost all skyblock servers have shops? Yeah, I forgot if Skyblock had a shop or not. You would just type /shop or an NPC at spawn would be in a little hut, and you can right click!
2. Crates/ Tokens from Voting
Most servers use the Vote to Crate Key system, right? Yup. Using tokens from voting, you can buy Crate Keys using /tokens shop! My best idea for the price of one of them would be about 10-15 tokens each. You can get cool things (like how its going to be implemented in the new Factions) like diamonds. The crates would be aligned to be in this order...
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
3. Island design upgrades based on server rank
Island design upgrades would be cool as well. Based on your rank (ex, one of the Donor ranks), you could be able to choose which island to start out with. Staff ranks like Helper, Owner, etc. would get all island designs at the start.
4. In-game ranks w/ kits
You could use coins to upgrade to a higher rank like factions.
Here are some SkyRank ideas:
#1, SkyBeginner: costs 3000 coins
#2, SkyRookie: costs 6000 coins
#3, SkyGuard: costs 10000 coins
#4, SkyLeader: costs 20000 coins
#5, SkyLord: costs 50000 coins
Those are some rank ideas. The kits, you guys can come up with!
5. Public Mine/PvP
When you start the island, you dont have many materials, like ores, to start out with! So, you could have a public mine, with Iron and Coal scattered everywhere, so you dont need to sell all of your wood! Also, you can head to the PvP zone to battle your friends or other players. You wouldn't drop your items when you die, so it's fair for everyone.

As you can see, I took a while getting this together (only about 20 minutes lol) and explaining everything. I would REALLY love to see skybock along with most, some, or only one feature(s) come along with its return.

I agree, but the problem wouldn't be creating the server as much as maintaining it. We would need someone from our staff, someone active, to manage the server.

 

oh yeah! youre right... X1X and liz are doing the factions... idek but my best guess is that you are maintaining the crative server (cuz i see you alot on there..) and idk... if jordan gets her app accepted she could look after the skyblock server.. who knows?

 

lol if anyone's maintaining creative its probably rJay, and Kurt also helps with Facs. But honestly creative doesnt really have the same number of bugs and glitches that Facs does so we don't need anyone to maintain it.

 

People like skyblock, and I'm sure it would attract new people, and I like skyblock..

TBH a normal skyblock plugin would be 'unique'.. ;-;

EDIT: Islands could have biomes just like in regular minecraft. (some parts of your isalnd are snowy; some are sunny; some are rainy; some are a swamp; etc. This would range from a large area (atleast 20x20)
(sorry if this is already a feature in skyblock, Im not very familiar with new skyblock plugins, servers, etc.)

You can buy 'flying boots' from the shop. The durability goes down the longer you are in the air, but you can buy them in the shop, or get a pair with /vote tokens. OR, You can have a 'fly' enchant.
