Talking About Stuff/Getting Some Things Off my Chest.

If you do not enjoy reading things like this, leave now, no one is forcing you to. I'm not writing for anyone, I'm only doing so because my chest is getting tighter by the second, which leads me to writing, as it is my only form of relief.
I first joined this community on the 8th of december, 2013. After getting fed up with singleplayer, I found this server on Mineshafter, this server was the second multiplayer server i have ever joined, and oh boy I did the right thing huh?
I was pretty young back then, I didn't know much about Minecraft, I'd spend 30 minutes trying to google crafting recipes for clay, which are of course, nonexistant. I'd spend 30 minutes looking for nukes in my creative inventory, thinking mods are are also a part of the vanilla version.
So when I first joined, I felt excited, getting the chance to meet new people, having fun, spending good times I'll remember for the rest of my time on ShadowXCraft.
I didn't know much about multiplayer, so as anyone would do, I remained clueless, running around hub for about 5 mins, till I first asked "Hello?"
Of course I got a response since the server had around 50 players at the time, and had global chat as it has today.
The first to respond was the former staff member "annagorlik" who was a helper at the time, she first introduced me to Skyblock, I got excited, to be able to try something new other than staring at the moon on singleplayer.
She was also a Skyblock player, so of course, I thought that Skyblock was the bomb on the server, and that everyone plays it, so I embarked on my epic journey to figuring out the basics of Skyblock and getting started. But of course, my excitement was somewhat short-lived.. "TheMiner123 fell out of the world"
"What the heck? What did I do? That never happened to me.."
Of course I didn't even know what the void was.. But I figured things out relatively fast and got attached to that sub-server, pretty much ignoring everything else.
But of course, after I got a solid island level of 500, I started playing on other sub-servers, so I was again introduced to KitPvP. The most popular sub-server at the time.
The game mainly consisted of 12 arenas and about 27 kits which didn't require anything at all, and also with Arena 1 being the most popular one of them all, it consisted of a large cylinder with a huge building in front of it.
But again, I sucked at PvP, I thought I was good at it back when the only thing I was doing was punching cows in singleplayer..
But still, I figured things out, and got better, you may say Skyblock and KitPvP were the ones that got me attached to the server, with a lot of players giving me motivation to get better at what I was doing, many shoutouts coming up at the end.
As one would expect, the server changed aswell, with the start of 2014, many things were added, new hubs, new players, new staff. But most importantly, the addition of the one and only, Prison 1.0.
I instantly got addicted to it, fun fact: I was the first to join Prison at the time.
Prison marked the start of a new chapter of my little adventure on SxC, from PvPing to weapon collecting and basically being a jerk, to making a lot of friends and turning over a new leaf, I still consider Prison the best sub-server, even though it's pretty much dead nowadays.
Not much needs to be said, I basically got better at Minecraft in general, I pretty much learned everything, which boosted my progress on Prison.
As time passed, new people started joining, Friends were made, enemies were made too, believe it or not, I was one of the most hated people on the server.
Of course, times changed, friends became enemies, enemies became friends, members that got promoted to staff forgot about their friends, only focusing on their job, which they failed at exceptionally.
I started thinking about staff, and my desire to join their ranks, so of course, at that time, I started talking about that, only to be responded with the rule of applying.
I didn't know how to apply back then, until I was introduced to lizardfreak321, I started a converstation with him on hangouts, which played a huge role in the future, from there I'd ask him about anything server-related, reporting many things, but most importantly, asking about staff ranks.
I first applied through Gmail, being clueless and childish back then, I messed my application up.
Around that time I also changed my name from TheMiner123, to TheMiner1234 (yeah, I was good at making usernames).
So here's my very first application, warning, extremely cringy:

"Hi Liz This is TheMiner1234 and i would like to become a helper !
i helped so much ppl and i'd report anyone that spams or does something inappropriate and help anyone

Plz promote me into a helper it helps so much !

Of course, I didn't know what to do after that, I asked, but 321 responded that I needed a premium account
So.. I wasn't completely honest afterwards, I lied after applying for the second time saying that I had premium and just couldn't change my skin. Here's the second application, which is less cringier than the first one, seeing that I matured a little bit:

"Hello, my ingame name is TheMiner1234
I would like to apply for the [Helper] position in ShadowXCraft
I joined the server about a year and a half ago. I played in the server ever since, I always do my best in trying to find rule breakers and hackers in each of prison, kitpvp and hunger games and post screen shots or videos on the website, if I become helper I would definetly be of great assistance in spotting rule breakers and therefore, help the server a lot, and perhaps if someone of higher rank asks for help, I would help for sure. And also help players in ways that benefit themselves and the server (helping them would be by spotting rule breakers and ppl that annoy the server).

Sure enough, 3 weeks later, I got denied, I easily accepted that, and slowly lost interest of becoming a staff member. And resumed my presence as a hated member of ShadowXCraft
But not until the summer of 2016 when the server basically died, I reapplied again, more determined than ever, and of course, 3 weeks later, I got accepted.
But my time as a staff member was short-lived as I was forced to quit due to heart problems.
I came back at around mid-march, and of course, I re-applied, seeing the dire condition of the server. But, of course heart problems resurfaced, and I had no option but to take a 3 month break.
But now, There's nothing left for me.. People are forgetting who I am, my application is still pending, my "friends" are no more, everyone left, few players remain, what is left for me? Absolutely nothing, I get the feeling that my time on ShadowXCraft is almost over, but I know that as long as I have the motivation to stay, nothing can change my mind...
I thank everyone who supported me and helped me pave my way to the xMineral_TM that I am today.

Imma say: Just because the server is smaller now, doesn't mean it's worse. Kudoes for admitting you lied, that takes guts, even if it hurts. My respect level for u just jumped a ton.
