    This server is running on teamspeak, so I'm wondering why not switch to Discord?
    Reasons why I think it should be switched:

    1. Teamspeak is kinda old now
    2. Discord has better chats
    3. Able to upload photos
    4. The chat is opened and able to be seen
    5. Better voice connection
    6. Able to create better
    7. It's safe and privacy can be enabled
    8. It can be opened in your web before downloading the actual app
    9. Discord has a free mobile app
    10. It uses less memory for better gameplays
    11. You can lower or higher the voice of the user better *without hurting your ears*
    12. You can edit your text.
    13. It's free to create your own server

    and many more for you to discover

    I personally love Discord and I think it should be added as a server feature as this will bring in a lot of fun because it can be an app and it'll be available anywhere.

    We've had this suggested several times before. I note the suggestion, but bear in mind we have direct control of the server we currently have, whereas we do not have nearly the level of transparency or control on Discord. Discord also is a web-based service and, as I'm an avid gamer, I've used it many a time, and quite frankly, there are issues with ping and lag, and audio disruption far more often than a hosted Teamspeak server. In addition to this, Teamspeak has definitive logs and is much like any other server, rendering much higher levels of control to the Admins. That in mind, here are a few friendly rebuttals to the issues you pointed out:

    1. Teamspeak is currently actively up to date and developed, the graphics are what is old
    3. We can do that here on the forums, can we not? We don't need two social platforms. The Teamspeak server is for quick in-game communication
    5. This is highly debatable
    6. Not sure if this is just a filler or...
    7. As is Teamspeak
    10. Teamspeak is already highly memory unintensive, in fact, it has used less memory than my web browser before
    11. I use custom levels on both Teamspeak and Discord and I found both pretty much the same situation. It's a custom level for each person. At the end of the day, the user is the one who controls whether Mr. Mic Eater also eats your ears
    12. I would like to see this 'text' described. Not sure which text you are referring to...

    Thanks for your suggestion, though. Feel free to challenge my rebuttals.

    I like the teamspeak style interface because it's really easy to use and is very familiar.

    Discord on the other hand has a more "modern look" (I dislike that) at the sacrifice of ease, the connections of discord are extremely unreliable as it always sound robotic to at least most canadians like me and tend to have more connection issues than on teamspeak.

    Not many players use teamspeak these days, shadowxcraft are lacking players these days, it would be a nice feature to have Discord for chat purposes. It's also available for free as a mobile app. So why not give it a try?

    I like Discord way more than Teamspeak, that's i'm why really inactive in ts.

    -Discord is really easier to use. (My opinion)

    Id rather not have discord cause then half the time there is no staff on to watch it as there is teamspeak cause im always on teamspeak. I have used discord once and its just a no go for me you can watch it yes but teamspeak is better. At least with teamspeak you have more ways to do things than discord.

    Now that discord has been brought to the server there's a few things you guys would want:

    Those are the bots for the server, it has its own job to do so pick the one you think it's useful.
