/disguise Command...

    As having the YouTuber rank it's almost impossible to play. Because many people think I am recording I get targeted because they think they can get in a video. I think that people with YouTuber Rank should be able to access the /Disguise command because we want to record, not record getting targeted. I had almost 5 people today in KitPvP pass each other up to kill me. Please @lizardfreak321 may there be a /disguise? Us YouTubers really need it.

    Even staff members needs this, constantly getting targeted by almost everyone. It's getting annoying.

    It is an extremely abusable command. Like admins have abused it..

    it seems like it would be useful because as a donor, using a donor kit gets me targeted

    Nah, peeps start chasing you because you slain them too much... at least that what I do, I chase someone if they slay me too many times... The donor kit has nothing to do with my reasons:p

    People target only because of kit Diamonds (in kitpvp). I think it would be good, as a command for Youtubers and staff, but maybe you could limit the choices of names...?

    Mods have it. /d p (name) but for youtubers it doesn't seem helpful.. It is easily abused like what 321 said.

    Most popular Minecraft Youtubers I've watched will create random account, which I call "Incognito Accounts", which are basically alts, but there just to not be recognized... Those are only useful for one session as everyone figures out who it is once recorded with one. Quite pointless in my opinion.

    The popular Minecraft Youtubers I've watched who do follow the rule of "no alts", generally get their chat spammed to a degree that it goes too fast to be readable, but that not the point I'm trying to indicate...

    What I am trying to indicate is, once people know someone is a Youtuber, they will try to get the youtuber's attention just to get in a video, so I have to agree with Lavq that there should be a way to hide it... but I also have to agree with Liz321 and DJDan that a disguise plugin is easily abusable...

    Maybe it's better to have the option to get the "Youtuber" prefix disabled in KitPVP? (this will help reduce recognition from new players), or maybe we'll have to find a new plugin and test them until there's one that is usable for Youtubers, but is hard to abuse...
    The last option would be for Youtubers to be able to request temporary access to the disguise plugin, but would have to be monitored.

    I will admit, trying to be a Youtuber in disguise is difficult, there may be no solutions either.

    While targeting does seem like its starting to become more and more common, SXC nor its ytbers aren't quite at the stage where this is needed. For now, the best solution to any targeting problems would be to use the /report command to alert a staff so they can take a look or to record and then report to forums.

    But look at it this way. Why would I abuse a /d when I'm recording... Im going to soon lose my you tuber rank because of this targeting I need a video per week and I can't get one without being targeted. And it just gets annoying when I get targeted and have to do /report for everyone... so the /d is needed.

    Yes you might not abuse /d but others will still. And if they only see you with disguise they will feel bad/quit.

    Youtuber don't get perks except for prefixes and this perk is very abussive, some donors even hack.. Only staff get this, closed.
