Resolved Question about data loss

    The title says it... I recently changed my username. After having done this a couple years back and having my data migrated back then, and what I'm wondering is if a new migration is necessary. I'm unsure of how the system works nowadays and if I need a migration again. I also didn't take this problem into account this last time that I changed my name (because of it last happening almost 2 years ago) and am apologetic for this being a possible issue for any staff.

    Take note that I realize that I'm not supposed to ask FOR data recovery on this part of the forum. This is simply a question of IF I would need it so I can take the steps necessary to do so.

    Are you just changing the name of a premium account? That can be done without data loss since ShadowXCraft now uses UUIDs for everything.

    Correct, I only changed the username of my premium Minecraft account.

    So only submit a data recovery request if you actually lost data.
