Quick Question

Since almost all of SxC joiners are from the eastern or pacific American time zones, why should we be looking specially for staff from other timezones? Not too many people get on at 9:00 PT, a time Dan might be able to get on, so why do we even need staff from other time zones?

PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT THINK ANYONE IN OTHER TIMEZONES SHOULD BE DEMOTED. I JUST THINK ITS UNFAIR TO AMERICAN MEMBERS THAT THEY WILL ALMOST NEVER BE ACCEPTED AS STAFF. ALSO, AMERICANS MAKE UP MORE THAN HALF OF THE SERVER. THAT MEANS THAT MOST OF THE SERVER WILL NEVER HAVE A CHANCE FOR HELPER.

Also, this is just for other people in the US who will probably never be accepted into staff. I do not want staff. I'm just pointing out a flaw in the system.

True.. and I don't disagree against diversity. Its just that some new staff may never be on when a larger percent of the members are. And as staff, their job is to help and moderate. Its harder to do that when you are the only one online. As I write this, its only 9:37 PM PT and only 2 people are on.
