Skyblock Release

Hey everyone! I'm sure you have heard by now that Skyblock has been released! Skyblock is basically survival but you are on an island over the void. The objective is to survive the mobs and build the most amazing island you can. You can earn island levels by building more structures and adding more blocks to the island. Need something like redstone? Checkout the challenges at /challenges or /c. They contain different challenges to complete that will give you items.

Some commonly asked questions:

• How do I get started?
  • All you have to do is /is and select an island type.
• Is there a shop?
  • No. I did not add a shop to this server because it would take away from the survival aspect of the game.
  • The easiest way to get items is to checkout the challenges at /c or /challenges
• What do I do if my lava turns to obsidian?
  • Click on the obsidian with a bucket and it will restore it to lava!
• What happens when I fall off the edge?
  • Unfortunately you will fall into the void and die.
• Do I keep my items when I die?
  • No. To go along with the survival aspect, KeepInventory is off.
• How do I start over?
  • Sad day... To restart do /is and select the Podzol (Bottom right icon)

WOOP WOOP! NEW NEWS AFTER 2 WHOLE MONTHS!
I seriously think you should make more news updates for upcoming events, anniversaries, staff updates, and project updates (not when they are just done). The lack of news makes players not think much progress is happening, and some might just want more to have a reason to be active of the website. I've said this a few times, but nothing's happened.

Please give more to the players to help the well-being of this great server.

Agreed. I usually try to make some profile posts about upcoming changes and such.

 

Do you think the profile posts can be put into one update news post? Relevant ones, of course.

There is nothing wrong with having just a vanilla version of Skyblock. It has been very popular over the last 2 weeks.
