Voting Rewards

You have like 5 sites to vote.. 5 points each day. In 11 days you get the creeper eggs. Seems fair enough.

 

Not ONLY that but if you vote for days in a row without missing days the number of tokens you get per vote goes up... by like up to 4 or 5 I think..

I know we staffs think it's fair, but right now so few players are voting with the current vote to reward ratio, and there are currently too little options of rewards as well.
It would be better to take the suggestion into mind, lower the vote to reward ratio and look for new rewards that the players want instead of defending against it, after all we are a community.

Keep in mind, we should look into what players want, not just what we think they need. The current system would likely have been ideal if we could automate our voting, but since players have to spend their time clicking to vote, they are not as inclined unless they get an extra reward for their time.

Personally the current reward does not motivate me at all to vote, instead it's just my dedication to compete with another player's vote.. this technique isn't very effective, especially since a single miss can make the competitive voters unwilling to vote for the rest of the month.

 

I get 4 or 5 tokens every time I vote, and I vote on every link. That is 24 or 30 votes per day. That is 2 or 3 days to get the creeper egg package.

The only way I can see is to disable or cap the consistency boost, and increase what you can get with the tokens.

 

The boost is quite unfair at the moment, even when I had a long voting streak I never had any boost at all, also if you think about it, a player may not be able to vote every single day making it more unfair for them. Unless the community become bigger and get more constant voters, I do not see a reason for the boost.
I'm not sure how many agree with my logic, but it's here. Perhaps we see what other players think.

 

I have missed 4 days this month, and my boost still applies. It isn't too strict.

That can possibly get things out of balance, and it can also not encourage voting at first because they won't notice that if they vote more it goes up.
