Theme and Description of your map:
A medieval styled, adventurous map that is inspired by books and movies.
Coordinates for build(coordinates also for the spawn deathmatch if sg map):

I've always wanted to see a medieval-type map on shadowxcraft, so I decided to try and make one. I don't have much experience in building maps, so this isn't up to par with the amazing maps already added, but I tried my hardest! There's giants, dragons, taverns, jails, and more! I built it all by hand, no mods, so it's kinda good I think?
Please consider, or if you have tips or something you want to see added, please let me know! The map is small, but I can always add more! Thank you! (btw if u do accept this map idk where to give u it so pm me about that thx)

My outlook on this:
It has a LOT of potential. Like Liz said there are some problems. You didn't really terraform anything which shows me that you don't know worldedit that much. Also your buildings are nothing other than boxes. You need to make them more detailed and more medieval looking. I suggest looking at some youtube videos, learning some building tips and learning how to use worldedit. Trust me world edit may seem like a little but it changes your WHOLE map into something amazing. Unfortunately like Liz said your map is too small. You need at least a 200x200 area. Don't give up though, keep on working hard, you have a lot of potential.

 

Don't be mad but, try to make it more interesting. But basically, it's ALL flat :3

 

I realized that haha XD I picked up wolrd editing and figured the basics. The map is actually 200x200, just didn't show alot. I kinda messed up the world cus i tried to put a glass dome that was 100x100...but it was too small and I can't undo it. I'm redoing the map currently, I'll be sure to terraform and improve the builds. Thanks!

 

Thank you for the critique! I ruined the map but Im redoing it and I'll make sure to do that.

 

Okay so here's what I did:
- I learned world edit
- I added more buildings
- I terraformed A TON of hills and mountains
-I made the arena bigger

 

We terraformed our map without worldedit ;-;

anyways, I like the concept (as mostly everyone else does), but most complaints are the same

I'm working on fixing the map, and I've followed everyone's advice. I plan to post a new video when I'm done.

 

Also you should take off the armor stands (0:33 in the vid) because people can break them and get the armor.

 

What if we put just leather and enclose the armor stand with Invis blocks which no one can break.

 

Actually don't leave the armor stands open.Enclose them all or just take them off.

 

Oh, i thought that there was a plugin that could stop that. Ah well, I'll just use barriers to enclose them.

 

Hello everyone. I have bad news. my hard drive was making weird sounds, and all of a sudden it broke. There was no way to fix it.. Being the noob that I am, I forgot to back up the map to a safe place, like the cloud or google or somewhere. I had to get a completely new hard drive. That means that all my worlds, folders, and saves were wiped clean. I was able to re download my applications, but not my saves. So, the map is gone. I still want to make a map, but currently I cannot download world edit, the files in my forge folder are having problems. I still want to make a map, but this project is over now. I'm pretty sure most of you don't really care, but I just want to let you know. Thank you to everyone who supported the project and gave me advice. I will be sure to incorporate it into my next map, once world edit is fixed.

all my worlds were wiped because I had to re download minecraft so creative worlds aren't an exception

yes that's true
but after you and lizard gave me advice i got world edit and started terraforming.
