Whats Going On Sxc Staff?

Eh, Im kinda with you on this. We need more staff.

 

We don't need "BETTER STAFF MEMBERS", there is never a perfect person.
Sooner or later, the same thing will happen to Steny, Merome, Nick, etc. Everyone has a life, a family, education to worry about. The inactive staff are that way because they have other priorities. I agree we need to get a few more staff, but soon they'll do the same thing. There's never a staff always on, or a staff that works on a server for 10+ years. Everyone will eventually quit, or be inactive. Give them time, because they have lives just like you.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure you posted this because you applied for staff and really want the place of the other staff....

Yeah but staff do have their personal lifes, which some players don't seem to understand

 

As time goes People get a different interest, And after sometime you can experience this in your real life there is a life out of the computer and in a couple of years even the owner of this respected server might start getting inactive Because of the family He/She Must take care of, The academics and much more But hey, Staff's are always there to protect the server But the EU staff are less in my opinion just saying and at the end of the day All goes well

 

Just because you dont see some staff does not mean they are always inactive. 321 is super active on the server. The only reason you dont see him is because he is trying to make better updates so YOU, the players have a better experience on SxC. It is not 321's job to ban hackers although he does if he has the time. Theres a reason we have mods. The server has not been going down due to hackers, but due to school and personal lives. If you see a person hacking then do /report or report it on the forums. Instead of sitting there complaining about it you can be doing something about it. Even of staff are there they still NEED to record it and get proof. If you record it and put it on the forums the person can get banned as soon as staff see the video. You also have to realize that the reason we have staff isnt only to ban players. Staff have to do a lot of stuff and are usually really busy.
And i agree with Pixel, you made a thread asking for there to be an OP donor kit right when you wanted to donate, and now youre asking for more staff when youve applied for staff.

 

We dont need "Better staff", we need staff from all around the world. Just like pixel said, staff have lifes and studies.

 

Look, we don't need better staff as everyone else says. There's never going to always be active staff. Everyone moves on at some point. It's like life. We all age and grow up and have more priorities. We need to get a few more staff members to help the server stay up. Every few months staff leave and new staff join. That's how this should be.
EDIT: It can't just be anyone, we need smart, reliable, responsible players if we need new staff

 

So many of those old staff are my oldest and best friends. They've been around MUCH longer than you have. Those staff members made such an impact on the server it can be seen today (most notably in Prison). They helped shape the server and gave me a taste of fun that I lacked in my life. Being homeschooled, I very much lacked the ability to have many friends, and these online friends were family to me. And like Pika, I'm getting the idea you want to demote older staff so you can join. That really hurts me because I was able to watch these people be promoted, rise through the ranks and then just fade. I've learned to do my best to replace the friends who leave with new ones. That's why I befriended people like Nick, Jack, Nikki, Hungry, Leah, and Merome. The more friends I have, the longer my interest in the server will exist, and that means I'll keep coming back.
What I'm trying to say, is that you are trying to demote some of the greatest staff we've ever had, simply for your own personal gain. It hurts me to see this happen. It hurts me.
Also. I'm not trying to be rude here, but if you could begin to fathom how much each and every one of my online friends means to me, then you would be able to MAYBE understand. You've insulted my friends, and you've insulted me. It may not be intentional, but remember that these staff members are every bit as human as you are, with feelings, emotions, wants, desires, struggles, relationships, dramas, heartaches etc. etc. And I am human too. So even if you don't agree with what I say, please do understand that what you have done makes me sad, that finally,my greatest friends, are leaving / have left the staff roster, and the server. Not just Fire, Jenny, and Jordan. But Steny, Nikki, Rogue, Hibiki, and more.
I've rambled on long enough, and my thumbs ache, so I'll close with this: SxC must find adequate replacements for staff if and when it decides to demote anyone. This will be tough, since finding someone of the same caliber as Draco or Steny will be near impossible. Failure to do this however, could lead to SxC shutting down.

 

Ive actually been though a lot with staff. I've even seen 1 staff abuse (1/2 years ago), but the staff and the owner fixed that problem. In my whole shadowxcraft career, iv'e never seen a staff who didnt help me or any other player. There have been many staff who i missed, but i have to understand that we all are humans and that staff are too. Without staff helping me or any other player, i would never had fun. This thread insults my old staff member friends who have been demoted due to them not being active enough.

 

I agree, however finding trustworthy staff is very hard.
