Maybe instead of websites, we could create an app which allows us to go straight into shadowxcraft instead of using your browser. This can take hard work but we can start from the basics

You mean that an app on a smartphone will somehow be able to connect to a Minecraft server and play on it?… Thats not hard work, thats flat-out impossible. If it was possible, every big server would have an app that would allow you to do that.

He was talking about the website, not going on the server itself.

In that case, why would we go through the trouble of programming an app that would just redirect you to a website.. Just use the browser, there's nothing wrong with it..

you dont really need to do that. I dont know what kind of phone he has but i know with iphones, if you go into the forums and then click the box with the arrow in it (bottom center) and then you can hit "add to home screen" . After that it has an icon like an app and it automatically redirects you to the server.

I verified, iOS, Blackberry and Android should all have a "Add to home screen" button in their native browser.

And of course, we'd have to make it free, so that'd be another non-reimbursed item for the server as a whole...

Its simple, grab the OS's web browser's API and embed it in your app and only allow connects from that user string... Just a simple and crappy app for a website:p
