So i have got a texture pack on Minecraft 1.8 that is really good but the fire on it makes the whole screen black out.. Same thing happens when i use regular minecraft's texture pack. So i think the server should have a /fire command that will toggle fire on of off. Even if you have fire off it will still affect you. So if you have fire off and then you get hit by someone with kit Fire or other kits you will not see the fire but you will get the fire damage.
I hope you take this idea into consideration Love O_YellowMan_O

I know but with some texture packs it may increase the look of the fire..

This isn't really our fault.. You can edit the recourse pack your self

Deleting the fire files doesn't get rid of the fire covering your screen. Instead it replaces the deleted files with the default fire.

Just saying, but having a texture pack without fire seems pretty cheap.. Also I'm not sure if a /fire command like the one you said is possible or not.

Fire appearance is client side so there is nothing that can be done server side that will keep you on fire and make it so you cannot see it.
