Factions 4.0

    Factions 3.0 is like dead now, normally when it's newly released, players tend to play on it every time...what happened? Why is it left dead...

    Well, If Factions 4.0 is under consideration. Here are my thoughts and ideas for it.

    -Two Faction Servers
    -Factions and OP Factions

    The normal faction server -

    • Custom Enchantments
    • Normal enchanting levels
    • Normal Pricing
    • Vote Crates
    • Normal McMMo
    • Small spawn area
    • No fly, fix commands.
    • Auction

    The OP Faction server -

    • Custom Enchantments
    • Higher enchanting levels
    • Higher Pricing
    • Vote Crates could give away rename
    • Custom color codes for /rename
    • Custom McMMo
    • In-game rank pricing
    • In-game ranks could give you -
    • -/fly
    • -/pv - 50
    • -/sethome - 10
    • -/fix
    • -/sell all
    • -/nick
    • -/back
    • -/hat
    • Money, Kills, Death stats at the right of the screen
    • 12K x 12K Overworld and 5K x 5K Flat End World!
    • Able to do /wild
    • Custom world
    • Auction

    To finish off, a good trailer for Factions 4.0 to drag players along.

    y is everyone obsessed with that -.-

    Idk about that, but I would like to see ranks come with permanent status effects like resistance, haste, regen etc. Also, I'd like to see see kits in some of the higher ranks that you can't normally get, like protection and projectile protection on the same chestplate, or smite and sharpness on the same sword. Or even possibly mcedditing in sharpness 6 swords and things like that.

    Looks good, would take an aweful lot of work though.

    Maybe this would be taken into consideration if SxC actually had a decent amount of players...

    We take all suggestions under consideration. We do have essentially a "to-do" list for all the new things we release.

    Not happening. The amount of fake hacker reports will skyrocket.

    To make everyone happy we would need three Factions servers, one OP, one Hardcore, and one balanced.
    For this to happen, I would need a good team of people who know how to use plugins and know how to create these servers. If you think you could do this please apply! We're currently two teams of 2 or three working on two projects at the moment. It would be great it we could get another team of three to work on Factions.

    Can you please explain the progression for the two servers? As in what they will be working on and working for, and how it changes as they progress. The progression is the most important part.

    Those who aren't into overpowered they could go on the hardcore or normal. The normal faction could have a lot of massive building including, auction shop, huge world, and cool spawners, the vote crates could give away great items which could drag players to play. For OP Factions, custom enchantments, envoys. Most players love these, with cool buildings, massive world. Maybe they have to go through challenges, missions, to obtain rewards and keep on playing. If we can have OP Factions with a great trailer, players would be dragged into it.

    Only two people mainly developing a large project is extremely detrimental (like me and Liz with Prison 2) to the efficiency and the productiveness of the project. This is why we are taking such a long time, but that doesn't mean we don't need new ideas and help. So that's why you guys, as our players, should try to make a lot of suggestions, as this will give us ideas about what you all want to see and experience. Try to consider other opinions (as well as your own) and any things new players may want to see when they first join before making suggestions.
    Yes, this excuse has been here for a long time: how we have a small development team and we have IRL commitments, etc, but it is true, and we don't have any other choice but to hang on. I personally do not apologise for helping develop the best servers for your utmost enjoyment, however long it takes. And I hope you all persist in helping us to help you experience the best of our work and efforts.

    I understand that you guys are doing a lot for the server, I appreciate that, this is just a suggestion, whether you guys think it's a good idea or not. I don't like seeing piled up work. Maybe, once the development on Prison 2 is complete, this suggestion could be under consideration.

    What do you mean by apply?

    I am a good at pugins for hardcore factions I dont need to be on a team for the staff forever I could be a staff for the plugins etc

    See this would be awesome since I kind of want a reset so I can start working on a faction fresh with everyone else. I do very much love factions and I want some fun competition ;)
