    Well [This is My Opinion] I think we shouldnt update it to 1.9 because of the pvp aspect. Alot of us really DISLIKE the aspect of shields and charging up our sword. Personally (i think many can agree) that the 1.9 update is not going to benefit us. Us Competitive PVPERS like to use the FISHING ROD and not have to charge up our swords just to do damage , some of us have been practicing and jitterclicking. Again this is my opinion and i hope you consider not updating to 1.9 :D:)

    Actually, many of us actually dislike rods. Also some of us actually like the idea of using shields for additional defense as it make the fight more medieval.

    I dont like 1.9 because of the delay, and you guys are changing kitpvp, so that means im losing all of my hard ranks :(
    Rank 35 is actually really hard to get to, and I was never able to achieve something: use blasterblade

    As someone else said before on another thread, Minecraft was never designed for PVP. People started to turn it into a PVP community. PVP was always a small enhancement to Minecraft. You all made it a significant part of this game (not saying that it's a bad thing), but I presume the developers are reverting Minecraft back to what it always has supposed to be: a block-building game.

    MOJANG have actually balanced 1.9 pvp pretty well.Im not saying i like this update, but i don't hate it neither.Now you have to charge your sword to fight someone, plus now gapples heal you less thenyou used to get in 1.8.

    Why do stats in kitpvp have to be reset ;-;. Well as soon as 1.9 in shadow starts, I guess I'll try and rank up fast.

    Concerns so far:

    Game:

    Being in the same block as a lily pad causes a conflict between server and client on player position causing the player to vibrate up and down.
    Putting '>' in a sign replaces it with \u003e
    Skeletons can't seem to hit anything with their arrows, even if the target is standing perfectly still
    Chunk in my plot missing the 'road' at (X/Y/Z): 14872, 69, 21647
    No in-game /help command. (Would resolve the following)
    /bal doesn't bring up my Fe ($) balance
    /seen <player> doesn't work

    Forum:

    No clear place on the forums for asking for a mod to get approved (Server Improvement -> Suggestions?, Server Related -> Help?)
    https://www.shadowxcraft.net/Staff/ results in 'The requested page could not be found. It appears either that page doesnt exsist or was eaten by @DJDan'

    Rules:

    2.b.ix Should be expanded to "kill yourself (kys)" as it's not descriptive enough for players who don't know what it means (example: me like 30 minutes ago)
    11.c.i Personal notes should be left out of the rules (Specifically, at the very least it should be only "We are already on Planet Minecraft")

    Do you really have to change it to 1.9 anyway? Like can't it just stay as it is. Many people like it.

    Many people like the new one, especially since the tryhardability of the game has been toned down so everyone has a fair chance.

    Please make a new suggestion post next time for a post like this. To answer your questions:
    Website:
    • The /staff part of the URL should be lowercase not uppercase.
    • The best spot to ask for mods to be approved/allowed would be Suggestions.

    Server:
    • I have been thinking about a /seen command but its unlikely to be done anytime soon.
    • I will check on your plot and repair it
    • What server are you having the ./bal issues?
    • I think the sign glitch is in the Server JAR source and it should be fixed soon. Same with the lily pad issue.

    Rules
    • I will update the rules to make them more clear.

    SMP is the server. Btw I updated the original post I made saying that skeletons can't seem to hit anything even if you're standing completely still in front of them (SMP).

    The staff part of the URL was from when you click on forums at the top of the page and then click on Staff under links and pages

    That is not true.. As we have been developing PVP version 3.0 over the past 2 months, we have at times been using a laptop without a mouse, we are absolutely terrible without a mouse, considering the main way to have an advantage is to move from side to side, touchpads cannot keep up with that.
